Bridget and My Left Breast have been there for me from before my first surgery, helping me to learn what would be out there to help me be 'normal'. She has helped me find the most fantastic mastectomy bras, and my awesome bathing suit.

I went to the hospital with one of her Amoena camisoles that come complete with drainage bulb pockets. It's the kind of camisole you step into, which I really appreciated post surgery. I wore my camisoles post surgery for about the first 3 months. They are so comfortable, and came complete with my first fiberfilled prostectic, which helped me feel normal when going out of the house, as well as when I welcomed friends to my home.

Bridget is always on the lookout for new products, so I try to keep in touch, regularly. Bridget has become a valued friend, I refer everyone I know who has experienced breast cancer to her. Thank you Bridget for being there for me.

I am so pleased to have found Bridget Leslie and her store, My Left Breast. Until Bridget opened her shop here in Peterborough, I had to travel all the way to Kingston to get my prosthetics and bras.

Bridget herself has been through the same experience as many of her customers and is very passionate about offering this much needed service to women. When I first went through my surgery and chemotherapy I had to visit several shops to fulfill my needs but, thanks to My Left Breast, I can find everything I need in one shop.

In addition to having a large variety of items to choose from in her shop, Bridget is very patient and knowledgeable; she wasn't going to give up helping me until I was comfortable, and she succeeded brilliantly. She measured and fit me properly, and I couldn't be more comfortable. Bridget made my shopping experience so easy and, believe me, I am a challenge to shop with!

My Left Breast also offers everyday, chemical-free products. I very much wanted to learn which ingredients to avoid in personal products such as body lotion and make-up, but the amount of information regarding this issue was overwhelming. Bridget has done a great deal of research regarding various ingredients and additives that are used in personal products, and has added excellent links to her website.

My Left Breast is my new favourite store and I will go there for everything from pyjamas to nail polish, to makeup.
